Virtual Reality vs Holograms

These days the trend is to innovate, the technology giants all over the world are experimenting to innovate new thing rather improving same old stuff. The companies like Google and Microsoft are doing it. Now let’s talk something about those innovations.

Firstly VIRTUAL REALITY

The “Virtual Reality (VR), sometimes referred to as immersive multimedia. A Virtual Reality is that which shows us a virtual world, which actually isn’t real. For example to examine a specific place, Virtual reality makes us feel that we are really in the field. For example, if we put on our earphones, we only hear to the music created in the earphones. In a very similar way, the VR headsets word. The company Google did something great with it’s Google cardboard, which helps people all over the world to create their own DIY VR headsets with few simple steps. To make your own headsets, check it out here ,How to make VR headsets?

Now HOLOGRAMS

Unlike virtual reality, which takes us all the way to a new reality, Holograms are those which creates some 3 Dimensional objects in our “own reality”. The HoloLens can create realistic  3 dimensional images and place those images in the world around you. So, when we see through a hololens. we will be able to see all those realistic 3 dimensional objects created around us. It is nothing but Augmenting something into our own reality, so it is also known as AUGMENTED REALITY. The technology giant Microsoft has did something great with this concept of hologram.

GOOGLE I/O 2015 Interesting Part.

Google I/O was started in 2008. The “I” and “O” stand for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”. The format of the event is similar to that of the Google Developer Day.

Google has unleashed a number of tantalizing products and intriguing concepts that have us looking forward it its 2015 conference. Google I/O is an annual developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco, California.

Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.

Here comes the most interesting and important part, introduction of super cool hardware and software.

If you wanna watch whole event, check it out.

What is virtual reality…… What did Google see through it’s Google cardboard vr??

This is what you see in a google cardboard. Amazing ……

So, firstly “VIRTUAL REALITY” what’s that? Well.. it’s an immersive multimedia, precisely when we here to some music through headsets we actually cover our ears and listen nothing but music which is playing in that headsets, similarly when we put on vr we see multimedia everywhere we feel like we are in another world where it seems like things are happening really in front like 3d.

So we learned something about vr so lets see what did Google do with it vr. Firstly Google did something greatly affordable delivering the concept of vr, it’s actually made of cardboard which consists of Biconvex Lenses 25mm, Focal Length 45mm, Neodymium Magnet,Ceramic Magnet, NFC tag and Rubber band. Just assemble that you got “VIRTUAL REALITY” with you phone, insert your nfc compatible phone in it and get some great experience.
