Do you think we only use 10% of our Brain??

Since so long, we were been told and made to believe that we only use 10% of our brain. Which is absolutely ridiculous. We use every part of our brain. Even while doing pretty small tasks like sleeping;).

It was believed that, this myth was first proposed by American Psychologist William James. Even Einstein believed this. And many science fiction movies extended this myth. Don’t worry about all that telekinetic stuff and all. We can still do wonders with what we have…

How can we be so sure that this myth is wrong?

Well.. We were been studying our BRAIN for so long and found a bunch of new thing one of them is “NEUROIMAGING TECHNIQUES”, Which basically deals with the brain waves.. Learn more about brain waves from my previous articles here Brain waves. Precisely these techniques show us the activity of our brain. When these techniques were performed, it was found that every part of the brain is “active”, which doesn’t mean that all the parts should work at the same time.

And in recent years it was found that we have 86 billion neurons not 100 billion. Yeah that 14 billion really matters;).

Some believe that, few people are good at right brain and some at left brain, but we use right side of the brain and left side of the brain equally.

So what is the difference between Einsteins brain and our Brain?

Einsteins brain was taken out 8 hours after his death. Usually we have something called Corpus Colosum which acts as a connection between the left side parts of our and the right side of our brain. In Einsteins brain this part is very thick. So, has very thick connections.

According to Neuroplasticity, the more we use our brain the thicker the connections become. So, how do we make our brain more like Einstein? Well… Go ahead and use your brain.

Studies shows that playing a musical instrument helps using our brain more.

So, let me know, what do you “think” ;)?

The story of my Blog

Well… This is the most interesting part in this post. I started this blog on April 4th 2015 ;). I started this blog to share my views, ideas, thoughts and mostly the Interesting Cool stuff which fascinates and gives us Information on various fields in fast growing Science and Technology. Scientists predict that in old times kowledge of humans doubles for every 1500 years and now for every 12 months the knowledge doubles. Alright that is quite a bit off topic, this blog exists because, this is the platform to interact with people and their ideas worldwide, which fetches me to improve my knowledge and may be their too.

Advice to new bloggers

I am not so well experienced blogger, though I have a few suggestions. Concentrate on the content you “write” not the videos you present because people open wordpress to read content not to view videos, try to write constantly, interact with people and know some new things, tag your posts correctly…

Nominations

Congratulations you are nominated, everyone who read this is nominated, because this is blogger recognition award and it is damn tough to nominate 15 bloggers.

“OLD SMART PHONES” WHAT CAN BE DONE WITH THEM?

Help Researchers for their research in various fields

Nowadays quite a lot of scientific advancements come from analyzing enormous amounts of data. And you know what? You can help researchers find a cure for diseases and even help to understand global warming.

Data analysis requires a lot of computing power! With BOINC  or the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. you can share the unused computing power of your old Android devices’ processor with the researchers from all over the world. The only thing you need to do is download the app and you’re good to go.download the free BOINC app, choose which research projects you want to support, and select how and when your device’s computing power can be used. As long as your device is turned on, plugged in and connected to a Wi-Fi network, scientists from various institutes will be able to tap into its processing power to help conduct their data analyses.

Android phones with DSLR and how the experience was actually pretty good. Using the Chainfire app with a Canon DSLR opens up a world of possibilities. Before we looked at importing your DSLR photos, but there’s more to it than that. With a cheap accessory on top of this you can actually create a low-cost, yet still effective external monitor for your camera.

IP Security cam

Old Android phones can come in very handy when it comes to your own security. There are quite a lot of apps out there that allow you to use your Android device as a remote security cam.

IP Webcam is a very simple app that does exactly what it’s called. You don’t need to run a server on your computer, just download the app, start it and enter the IP address (shown on-screen) into any browser and see what your phone is seeing. With IP Webcam you can stream and record both audio and video.

Smart TV remote

Old Android devices are great for controlling media around your house. A multi-functional TV remote with a touchscreen so to say.

Combinations like Chromecast hooked up to my TV, Plex and Netflix. If your phone has an IR blaster built-in, you can also completely ditch your crappy TV remote if you download one of these apps right here (depending on your TV).
